AI Engineer – Python, Automation

Responsibilities

• You analyze requirements and develop technical concepts and solutions

• You integrate and orchestrate GenAI models and external AI services

• You develop backend logic in Python and connect APIs, data sources and webhooks

• You extend existing solutions and implement automations using tools such as Power Automate or n8n

• You communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a project basis, translate business processes into technical solutions and present the results

Requirements

• Initial hands-on experience developing AI/GenAI applications

• Highly proficient in Python and work confidently with AI APIs and models such as OpenAI, Claude or Gemini

• Good understanding of modern software architectures and data flows

• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and external services

• Work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner

• Way of working is characterized by collaboration and a focus on quality

• Speak German at least at C1 level

• Additional advantages: experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django

• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or Haystack

• Basics in RPA or automation platforms

• Knowledge of Azure, GCP, Docker and CI/CD

• Experience in building RAG applications
