APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a AI Product Engineer in Berlin, Germany. Bridge AI research and product development at APPIT Software in Berlin, building user-facing AI features that integrate LLMs, recommendation systems, and intelligent automation into enterprise software.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into AI-powered features and user experiences
- Build full-stack AI product features from backend model integration to frontend UX
- Design AI-powered recommendation engines and personalization systems
- Implement real-time AI features with streaming LLM responses and progressive enhancement
- Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive AI interactions and feedback loops
- Measure and optimize AI feature adoption, accuracy, and user satisfaction metrics
Requirements
- 3-5 years of product engineering experience with 1+ years integrating AI/ML features
- Strong full-stack development skills (Python backend, TypeScript/React frontend)
- Experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI-powered user interfaces
- Understanding of ML fundamentals sufficient to evaluate model capabilities and limitations
- Knowledge of streaming architectures and real-time data processing
- Strong product sense and ability to design AI experiences that delight users
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI UX patterns and conversational interfaces
- Knowledge of EU AI Act requirements for user-facing AI
- Background in human-computer interaction
