Artificial Intelligence Analyst -Remote

Job Summary

Responsible for the performance of the overall quality speech analytics category design. Works cross-functionally with various groups internally and externally. Collaborates and synthesizes analyses for the execution of scorecards. Responsible for extrapolating data, developing queries, ensuring standardization of external files, leading projects that relate directly to the speech analytic platform, and making recommendations for the betterment of the company. Works hand-in-hand with other analysts and specialists within the team to build and invent an outstanding product with a prime focus on accuracy, understandability and performance.

Schedule

This position offers remote work. However, employees located within a 50‑mile radius of the Deerfield, IL office are expected to work on-site four days per week, with one remote workday. Standard business hours are Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM, with flexible start times.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement statistical language models, computational frameworks to process massive volumes of data, and engineer prototypes in a programming language (examples: Python, Java, R).

• Recognize pertinent language patterns and conversational content that lead to business value.

• Analyze recorded audio and audio‑based data sets for critical insights.

• Capture combinations of keywords & phrases within the system for optimal configuration performance.

• Develop and apply statistical modeling techniques, optimization methods, and other ML techniques to different applications.

• Participate in design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data‑driven models and analytical solutions for natural language applications.

• Determine opportunities through analysis of current or future trends and provide ongoing speech category design.

• Identify call events (keywords and phrases) to train the software to recognize as structured data to support analytics and business goals.

• Produce weekly/monthly reporting to management and business units.

• Familiarity with Voice User Interface (VUI) documents.

• Use a variety of testing methods to measure the impact of ongoing campaigns and new initiatives.

• Build positive relationships, drive decisions and communicate findings to executives and partners.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or high school diploma/GED plus three years of equivalent experience.

• Programming experience in one or more of: Java, C++, Python or equivalent.

• Experience managing large datasets, both structured and unstructured.

• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals.

• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending & implementing strategies to resolve problems.

• Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, determining when escalation of issues is necessary.

• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 2 to 3 years of Python experience.

• Elementary statistics.

• Familiarity with SQL.

• Familiarity with Databricks or related tools.

• Familiarity with chat or voice‑based systems.

Salary range: $47,300 to $121,400 per year, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable.
