Industry: Insurance / Financial Services / Corporate IT BAB Consult is looking for a Cloud & Data Engineer for an international private group operating in the insurance and financial services sector. Work closely with international technical teams.

Remote work is possible depending on the team and project structure, but candidates must be available for on-site meetings and appointments in Munich when required. Team size: The candidate will join a technical team of approximately 5 to 8 people .

The approximate focus of the role is: 40% Cloud Engineering 10% AI-related topics What you will do: Develop, operate and improve cloud-based technical platforms. Build and maintain data pipelines and data solutions. Work with cloud services, mainly Azure and/or AWS . Use technologies such as Kubernetes, SQL, Python , or comparable tools.

Automate processes, deployments and platform operations. Support stable, secure, and scalable cloud/data environments. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Contribute to data quality, platform reliability and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for: At least 4 years of previous experience in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development with a cloud focus .

Strong experience with Azure or AWS Good knowledge of Kubernetes Experience with SQL and Python Experience with data pipelines and technical platforms Understanding of automation and stable platform operations Basic understanding of IT security and data quality Experience with agile working methods Ability to prepare clear technical documentation English level: B2/C1 or higher The position is hybrid.
