Data & AI Architect (f/m/d)

A premier Global Systems Integrator (GSI) is seeking a seasoned On-site Data & AI Architect. This role bridges technical expertise and strategic sales, driving adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data & AI solutions. You will design, present, and close complex deals, serving as a trusted advisor to senior CXOs. Key Responsibilities 1. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Sales Support Partner with Sales teams to identify, qualify, and close high-value Data & AI opportunities. Drive GTM initiatives and support revenue growth through strategic client engagement. Design scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade Data & AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Architect solutions leveraging Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Looker. Lead client discovery sessions, workshops, and solutioning discussions. Develop compelling proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and technical solution presentations. Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Value (PoVs) to demonstrate business and technical value. 4. Industry Solutions & Business Development Develop industry-specific AI and Data solutions to accelerate customer adoption. Support co-sell initiatives with Google Cloud and partner ecosystems. 5. Implementation Governance & Delivery Support Define solution architecture during the pre-sales phase and remain actively engaged during the initial implementation stages. Provide technical oversight to ensure successful solution deployment and scalability. 6. Executive Stakeholder Management Engage with C-level executives and senior business leaders to articulate business value and technical strategy. Present solution roadmaps, transformation strategies, and AI adoption frameworks. Required Skills Professional Experience 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud Architecture, or related technology domains. Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions. BigQuery Dataflow Looker Cloud Functions Strong pre-sales experience with solution consulting, proposal development, and customer presentations. Proven capability to influence and support sales teams in achieving revenue targets. Experience leading PoCs, PoVs, and customer workshops. Technical Skills Data Architecture and Modern Data Platforms AI/ML Solution Design and Deployment Data Engineering and Analytics Cloud Migration and Modernization MLOps and AI Governance Enterprise Architecture and Security Best Practices Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. Ability to bridge business and technical discussions effectively. Preferred Certifications Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer Additional Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
