Position: Data Analyst Junior Location: Canton of Vaud, Switzerland Workload: 100% Start date: To be defined Context Our client, a major international organisation, is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to strengthen its medical team as part of the development and operation of a new medical platform.

The position is part of an environment combining healthcare, data quality and digital platform operations, within a dynamic and specialised team. They will support data collection, validation, cleaning and documentation activities to ensure that the information used by the medical teams is complete, usable and compliant with defined standards.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. This platform aims to centralise, structure and improve the reliability of medical data, particularly data related to injuries, in order to support reporting, analysis and continuous improvement of medical processes.

Purpose of the Role The Junior Data Analyst will contribute to the quality, consistency and reliability of the data integrated into the medical platform. Perform regular validation, cleaning and consistency checks on incoming data. Identify missing, inconsistent, incomplete or implausible data.

Follow up with the relevant colleagues or contributors to resolve data anomalies. Contribute to the documentation of field definitions, coding rules, procedures and data-entry standards. Prepare clean and usable datasets for senior colleagues within the medical unit.

Support functional testing of the platform, particularly regarding data entry, validation logic and output quality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management and data quality processes. Promote a culture of rigour, quality and responsibility around medical data.

Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as health sciences, epidemiology, data science, biostatistics or a related discipline. Master’s degree would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and musculoskeletal injuries. Strong interest in data quality, validity and structuring.

Organised, reliable and rigorous profile with strong attention to detail. Good communication skills to follow up on inconsistencies or missing data. Motivation to work in a medical environment and contribute to the development of a digital platform.

Expected Experience Initial experience gained through studies, internships, student jobs or early professional experience. Experience in data handling, data administration or support for research activities. Experience with structured datasets or data quality control processes would be an asset.

Exposure to a medical, healthcare or research environment would be appreciated. Key Skills Excellent attention to detail. Strong sense of rigour and reliability. Ability to consistently follow defined processes. Good coordination and communication skills. Proactive and service-oriented mindset.

Willingness to learn and contribute to a platform development project. Technical Skills Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Initial experience with a data-related tool or environment would be an asset: advanced Excel, SPSS, R, Python, SQL or Tableau.

Ability to work with structured templates, data-entry systems and functional documentation. Languages Fluent English required, both written and spoken. French and/or German would be an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
