Data Engineer_2-5yrs_FT(Bhubaneswar Preferred/Remote may be considered)

We are looking for a AWS Data Engineer to build, maintain and optimise reliable data pipelines and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Python skills, hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, and knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimise data transformation processes using SQL, Python and PySpark.
• Work with data platforms and cloud services to ingest, process and manage data efficiently.
• Support data warehousing and lakehouse architecture, ensuring data quality, reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver dependable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues, improve performance and maintain documentation for data workflows.
• Explore and use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity where appropriate.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines in Spark / PySpark.
• Experience in AWS
• Exposure to AWS Glue,Lambda,S3,Step Functions
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.(e.g. GitHub Copilot,Claude,Cursor)
