The Data Ops team is supporting global systems serving the entire group worldwide. We would like to strengthen our team with a skilled Data Engineer specialised in Talend and enterprise‑grade ETL / ESB integrations. The integration framework is modernising with microservices, API gateway management and Kafka.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (application owners, architects, business analysts, data consumers) to design integration patterns and improve governance around data flows. Partnership‑oriented: Promoting collaboration and teamwork.

It covers a large spectrum of interfaces, from very critical order processing to more regular analytical systems. Main Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines (batch and near real time) using Qlik Talend and related integration components.

Develop and operate ESB‑style integrations between core banking systems, data platforms and downstream applications, ensuring robustness, scalability and reusability. Take operational ownership of Talend (change management, data quality management, SLA monitoring, SOPs and runbooks).

Monitor and ensure smooth operation of critical data pipelines, including incident analysis, root cause identification and implementation of preventive measures. Apply CI/CD practices using the existing framework to automate and streamline deployments and configuration changes.

Implement controls using the observability framework, ensuring service continuity and accuracy. Create, maintain and improve documentation and operational procedures for the data integrations under your ownership.

Contribute to the standardisation and industrialisation of integration patterns, promoting convergence, normalisation and reusability across projects. Stay current with advancements in data engineering, ETL/ESB technologies and cloud‑based integration platforms to support continuous improvement of our DataOps capabilities.

Skills And Experience At least 5 years of proven hands‑on experience in data engineering and data integration, with a strong focus on ETL/ELT pipelines and ESB‑style integrations. Solid experience with Qlik Talend ETL and ESB on‑premise, including job design, orchestration, error handling and performance optimisation.

Strong ETL / data modelling skills, including handling of large datasets, complex transformations and integration of heterogeneous data sources. Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases and/or cloud data platforms. Experience with CI/CD practices and tools in a hybrid environment (e.g.

Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) applied to data integration components. Familiarity with ESB concepts, API‑based integrations, messaging and event‑driven patterns is a strong plus. Experience with data quality, metadata management and data lineage tools or frameworks is an asset.

Enjoy providing operational support on Talend jobs and data integration workflows (incident analysis, troubleshooting). Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders. Rigorous and methodical in documentation, process creation and change management.

High interest in standardisation, convergence and reusability of integration components. Curious, enthusiastic and proactive, with a hands‑on mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow in a demanding environment. Passionate about data processing and integration technologies. Fluent in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
