Data Engineer
to help shape the technological foundation for data-driven decision-making.
Your responsibilities
Analysis and preparation of data from upstream systems
Modeling and implementation of scalable
ELT/ETL processes
(batch and streaming)
Acting as an
interface
between Data Analysts and Data Scientists
Data enrichment and loading into a
Big Data environment
(Apache Hadoop on Cloudera)
Your profile:
Technical education in
Computer Science
(e.g. technical college, university studies, Data Science)
Experience in
data modeling
- both with relational databases and Apache Hadoop
Sound knowledge of the following technologies: SQL
(MS SQL Server)
Apache Hadoop ecosystem (Kafka, NiFi, Flink)
Programming skills in
Scala
and/or
Java ,
Python
Experience with
Linux
systems
Interest in working with
high-frequency data
in a near real-time environment
