We are a part of LOWTeq company and we recently established a new AI team and set a foot on a journey of implementing AI solutions into a well-established healthcare platform. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, who will become a valuable part of our company.
The team is split between Cologne in Germany and Bratislava in Slovakia, and a fully remote setup is possible. You will join the AI Team, where you will help us develop our data infrastructure.
Requirements BSc in STEM 3 years of practical experience in Programming (Python/C++/Java) 2 years of Linux experience 3 years of working with databases, SQL 2 years working in a technical team Experience with cloud (AWS), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), streaming (Kafka, Flink, Beam) It would be great if you: Enjoy developing end‑to‑end solutions.
Have experience in working with data science teams. R&D exploratory mindset within the team. Fully remote position or option to join our team in Cologne/Prague. Do you want to participate in interesting new projects, where your impact will be large? Then maybe you are our person!
With around 40 employees, LOWTeq GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of patient data management systems (PDMS) in the German-speaking region for emergency medicine, operative medicine and intensive care medicine with its super‑specialisations. Who are we searching for? What you’ll do?
Your work will have a wide range of tasks regarding data pipeline lifecycle—from data analysis, testing, monitoring, through data labeling and providing new training data and other crucial inputs for our ML models. Have knowledge about data pipeline orchestration. Are able to think logically about problems.
