Overview
You will join a team of data scientists developing the next generation of Genius Sports’ market leading sports models. These models act as the sporting brain behind many of Genius’s customer facing products, calculating the probabilities of outcomes across a wide range of sports. Join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary Agile team working on innovative products, focusing on continuous delivery and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models for major sports.
- Prototype, evaluate, and optimize algorithms to calculate probabilities of outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, scalable analytics products.
Qualifications
- Requirement of a BSc, MSc, or PhD in Data Science or related STEM field.
- Strong understanding of probability and statistics.
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of sports rules, betting, MLOps, data engineering, and programming languages such as Rust or C++.
- Ability to collaborate, demonstrate curiosity, strong social skills, and excellent English communication.
