Data Scientist/ AI Engineer (Forward Deployed) - Team Lead

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Data Scientist Team Lead (FSI Enterprise Solutions), who is passionate about working directly with clients to develop AI Agents using Unique AI’s SDK. Job Requirements Experience : 7+ years of experience as a data scientist or building ML/AI products, including 2+ years developing LLM-based systems; experience in financial services (hedge funds, asset management, trading, or fintech) is a plus. Hands‑on experience with LLMs : including tool calling and low‑level experimentation beyond frameworks, as well as prompt engineering for customer use cases. Production GenAI delivery : demonstrated experience designing, deploying, operating and evaluating LLM-based applications in production environments, including agentic systems with tool calling and orchestration.

History of successfully delivering projects for clients : translating customer requirements into tailored solutions. Team lead experience : 4+ years of successful team lead experience, ideally in consulting/FD set up including handling staffing topics on top of team development. Communication skills : exceptional communication and documentation skills; comfortable working with technical and business stakeholders, including senior client representatives, and communicating clearly when navigating ambiguity. Languages : English (French and/or German is a plus). Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience shipping production AI systems.

Job Responsibilities Spend time with clients, enabling them to maximize the value of our platform while providing hands‑on support and expertise. Lead our Global Forward Deployed Data Science team: coordinate cross‑functional dependencies, remove blockers, solve client escalation, set priorities and run regular 1:1s.
