Our team’s mission is to deliver data-driven insights and machine learning (ML) solutions at scale that enhance user experiences and drive value across our platforms, with a particular focus on search, ranking, recommenders and personalization.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, communicating insights, methodologies, and outcomes effectively. Work closely with data scientists, promoting best practices and continuous team growth.
Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, integrating new tools, frameworks, or techniques to push the team’s capabilities forward. We offer a flexible working environment with in-person presence expected once/twice a week, or as required for key product appointments.
Requirements As a Data Scientist (d/f/m) , you will: Drive impactful projects that apply data science and advanced ML models to complex business problems, especially around search, ranking, recommendation, and personalization.
Explore and integrate Generative AI solutions into product features, including LLM-based search enhancements, conversational interfaces, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and AI-generated content - evaluating their impact on user experience and platform value.
Own end-to-end data science initiatives: from ideation and prototyping, to production deployment, performance monitoring, and refining for scalability and efficiency. Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that inform business strategies and drive user-centric solutions.
Build and validate proof-of-concepts for innovative features, clearly presenting results and value to diverse stakeholders. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and other data scientists to align on search and platform goals and drive cross-functional product development.
