Go Cloud Data & AI Platform Engineer (Remote/Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to join a team building a cloud native Data & AI platform, working on challenging technical problems and helping shape the evolution of the platform.

• Role: Software Engineer
• Contract: permanent and direct with the client
• Location: hybrid in Barcelona or remote from Spain
• Salary: starting from 55K, depending on experience

🔧 What you’ll work on

• Build and evolve a cloud-based Data & AI platform from an engineering perspective.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the platform.
• Evaluate and integrate relevant open-source technologies.
• Design and develop REST APIs used to manage cloud services and their lifecycle.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators to automate service deployment and lifecycle management.
• Investigate complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust long-term solutions.

🧩 What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• A software engineering mindset with an interest in architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Curiosity for new technologies, particularly around Data, BI and AI.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow or Dremio is a plus.
