The preferred start date is September 2026.

This role has been created to support the digital transformation of the Technology Department and contribute to ongoing knowledge management initiatives. We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to apply data science, automation, and AI‑related technologies in a multidisciplinary environment.

Role Responsibilities Compile and analyze experimental data from archived projects to be utilized in data science initiatives. Build, maintain, and optimize end‑to‑end data pipelines that acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources into the enterprise Generative AI Platform.

Develop, prototype, and test LLM‑based architectures and agentic systems for processing large‑scale structured and unstructured datasets. Assist in the automation of manual processes & dashboards. Participate in code reviews and agile development cycles. Document data processing scripts, data workflows and generate technical reports.

Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor’s degree completed or currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or statistics. Strong programming skills in Python; JavaScript is a plus. Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and prompt engineering concepts.

Familiarity with cloud service platforms, such as Azure. Basic knowledge of web development frameworks and SQL. Basic knowledge of machine learning is a plus. Knowledge of chemistry or materials science is a plus. Passion to learn and a collaborative mindset. Fluent in English.
