Job Overview Business Intelligence Developer – Analytical Trainer (Remote) This role oversees all stages of the business intelligence cycle, including understanding business objectives, collecting requirements, translating them into data requirements, designing and developing reports or dashboards, scheduling and deployment, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The position collaborates with business and technology departments, performs data analysis and validation, and provides support around data integration. Responsibilities Participate in and lead classroom instruction for at least six courses offered in the Revenue Cycle Course Catalog.

Identify and provide recommendations to leadership for student learning opportunities. Develop curriculum for new and existing courses and manage online training files. Deliver training or curriculum development, including use of audio/visual equipment for presentations.

Develop logical modeling and presentation solutions in business intelligence environments. Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop analytical solutions. Maintain and develop documentation to define processes or procedures. Manage data following best practices.

Support and monitor business intelligence systems and processes. Administer business intelligence server(s) and processes. Perform other related duties as required. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, or a related field.

Work Experience Required: 1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and profiling, relational database systems, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence systems. Required: 1 year of experience as a business analyst, collaborating with end users to define metrics and business requirements.

Preferred: 1 year of experience with Oracle and data analysis and profiling. Preferred: 1 year of experience with data visualization using Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, and/or Crystal Reports. Preferred: 1 year of healthcare experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) SQL and data analysis skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to various levels. Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence concepts and collaboration with end users to define metrics. Ability to effectively manage multiple demands.

Physical and Environmental Demands Medium work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work may involve walking, standing, pushing, or pulling.

The job involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue and is not associated with emergency care or first aid. There is no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases. The job may involve exposure to hazardous medications or waste within the healthcare environment.
