Currently, we are looking for a Lead Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Finland. The person in this role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data platforms. The role is central to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of the organization’s data and analytics solutions. The work requires close collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, architects, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data platform on Azure
- Design data warehouse and lake structures
- Optimize Databricks environments
- Build automated data pipelines
- Manage data transfers and API integrations
- Define infrastructure using IaC
- Ensure security and compliance
- Provide technical support
- Participate in multiple projects
Essential Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Data governance principles
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, document processes, communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate across teams
