- We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our Growth Data Science team at Mercury Insurance.
- In this role, you will partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience organizations.
- You will identify growth opportunities, optimize strategies, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work directly with leaders to diagnose business challenges and define analytical roadmaps.
- Develop analyses, models, and frameworks to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
- Build scalable ML solutions like targeting, segmentation, and LTV prediction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 7+ years in data science or growth analytics.
- Preferred: MS/PhD; 5 years experience with SQL and statistical software; 1 year in P&C insurance.
- Expert-level SQL and Python; experience with A/B testing and production ML models.
