Are you looking for an opportunity to design a brand-new Predictive Maintenance system from the ground up? Do you have experience applying Machine Learning within industrial environments and want to make a real impact on future products?

I am currently representing a globally recognised manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machinery, supplying complete automated packaging solutions to customers across the food, beverage and consumer goods industries. Due to continued growth and investment into innovation, they are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of a brand-new Predictive Maintenance platform.

In this role, you will report directly to the Engineering Director, collaborating with R&D, IT and Engineering teams to create intelligent predictive maintenance solutions using machine learning and industrial sensor data. You will have the freedom to shape the architecture, develop the system from scratch and become the technical lead of this area as the division expands.

The successful candidate will have previous experience developing machine learning solutions within an industrial environment, excellent communication skills and be fluent in both German and English. Product training will be provided, however they are looking for someone capable of taking ownership of the technical solution from day one. You will be joining an established engineering business with over 50 years of success, offering long-term career progression, technical ownership and the opportunity to create a completely new product that will shape the future of the business.

The Role:

• Design and develop a new Predictive Maintenance platform from scratch

• Develop Machine Learning models for anomaly detection using sensor data

• Build and maintain IoT/Edge architectures

• Work closely with R&D, Engineering and IT teams

• Report directly to the Engineering Director and drive innovation

The Candidate:

• Previous Machine Learning experience within an industrial environment

• Experience with data collection, data science and predictive analytics

• Fluent in German and English

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Commutable to Fürstenau

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position.
