Professorship in Machine Learning in Software Engineering

We are looking for a person with an international track record in Software Engineering whose research focuses on the usage of Machine Learning techniques in Software Engineering and/or the development of Software Engineering techniques for AI‑enabled systems.
The Department for Computer Science at the School of Computing Science, Business Administration, Economics, and Law seeks applications for a Professorship. The position is financed by the federal Programme for Female Professors with the objective to appoint a woman to a permanent W2 professorship for the first time.
Experience in at least one of the following areas is required:
Machine Learning for quality assurance of software (e.g., fault localisation, verification, generation of test data, requirements analysis) Machine Learning for software design and implementation Design and quality assurance techniques for AI‑enabled systems
Experience in the field of human‑AI interaction within software development is desirable.
Associated with the professorship is an active integration into the university's research agenda, particularly through contributions to the university's research centre "Human‑Cyber‑Physical Systems: Safety, Acceptance, Social and Cultural Embeddedness".
