Lead the design and development of robust, scalable Python-based backend services. Architect and build RESTful APIs and microservices for reliable and flexible applications. Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines and processing workflows. Work hands-on with complex datasets, turning raw data into meaningful, usable insights.

Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and engineering best practices. Take end-to-end ownership: monitor, troubleshoot, optimize systems, and step in to solve ad-hoc challenges with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset. Strong Python skills and the ability to build and improve production-ready systems.

Good understanding of data pipelines, data processing, and working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Neo4j). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is a plus). A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working in dynamic environments (German B2 level required).
