Remote Data Analyst- Brazil

Pathward is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong SQL, Snowflake, and data-quality experience. This individual will work hands-on with data, support historical data and reporting needs, investigate data issues, and ensure information moving between source systems and Snowflake is accurate and complete.

• Pull and analyze data from SQL-based systems and Snowflake
• Profile datasets to understand their structure, content, and quality
• Write SQL queries and scripts to investigate and validate data
• Support business requests for historical data, reporting, and analysis
• Build data-quality checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
• Troubleshoot data issues between source systems and Snowflake
• Analyze datasets for trends, anomalies, and insights
• Partner with business and technology teams to understand data needs
• Help ensure data is accurate, complete, and usable as Pathward continues modernizing its data environment

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar data-focused role
• Strong hands-on SQL experience for querying, transforming, profiling, and validating data
• Experience pulling data from SQL-based source systems into Snowflake
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, including querying and loading data
• Strong experience with data profiling and data-quality analysis
• Ability to build and execute data-quality checks for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Experience troubleshooting data issues across source and target systems
• Ability to translate business questions into SQL queries and analytical outputs
• Ability to independently investigate data, identify anomalies, and determine root causes
• Fintech, banking, or financial services experience
• BSA/AML experience
• Experience supporting data modernization or migration initiatives
• Experience working with historical datasets and enterprise data platforms
