Remote Data Analyst - Mining Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of data from various mining operational systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies in operational data.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop predictive models to forecast operational outcomes and identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong portfolio of analytical projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), R, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
