About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Geoscience Data Analyst to join their innovative team. This position is critical for interpreting and managing vast amounts of geological and geophysical data, supporting exploration and production activities across diverse oil and gas assets. Working remotely, you will leverage cutting-edge software and analytical techniques to uncover insights, identify potential hydrocarbon reserves, and contribute to strategic subsurface evaluations. Key Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and interpret geological, geophysical, and petrophysical data using specialized software.

• Develop and maintain databases for geoscience information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

• Create visualizations, maps, and reports to communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and reservoir engineers to integrate data and support subsurface modeling.

• Identify trends, anomalies, and potential exploration targets based on data analysis.

• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in geoscience data analysis and interpretation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related geoscience field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in geoscience data analysis within the oil and gas industry.

• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or similar platforms.

• Strong skills in data management, statistical analysis, and visualization techniques.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and automation is highly desirable.
