Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various retail sources.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations related to sales, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Develop and implement statistical models for forecasting, segmentation, and predictive analysis.
• Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
• Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable business recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, collection methods, and analytical processes.

• Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to the growth of the analytics team.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role, with a focus on the retail industry.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as Python or R.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
