About the Role
Our client is searching for a highly analytical Remote Warehouse Data Analyst to support their operations serving the Soweto area. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from warehouse operations to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. This role involves developing reports and dashboards, providing insights into inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and operational bottlenecks. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with warehouse management and operational teams to drive data-informed decision-making, contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's logistics and warehousing functions from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data related to warehouse operations, including inventory levels, throughput, and labor efficiency.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to present key findings.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in warehouse data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to provide data-driven recommendations for operational enhancements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets.
- Assist in forecasting and planning activities based on historical data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on warehouse or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for remote collaboration and presenting data insights.
