Senior AI Architect - PreSales & Delivery (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead technical advisor in presales engagements – running discovery workshops, shaping win themes, and building the technical narrative behind proposals and RFPs.

• Design end‑to‑end AI/GenAI solution architectures – from data and model layers to integration, security, and scalability – tailored to real client environments, not generic reference decks.

• Lead technical deep‑dives, PoCs, and architecture reviews that build genuine client confidence, presenting complex AI concepts in language that resonates with both engineers and executives.

• Own solution design and technical delivery leadership on live projects – guiding engineering teams, making key architectural decisions, and staying close enough to the code to unblock hard problems yourself.

• Build and prototype AI/ML/GenAI components personally where it matters – you are expected to remain technically credible, not just strategically credible.

• Bridge client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and leadership – acting as the connective tissue that keeps commercial promises and technical reality aligned.

• Mentor engineers and consultants, and contribute to the growing AI capability, accelerators, and reusable IP.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of relevant hands‑on experience in software/AI engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting, with recent deep exposure to AI/ML and GenAI technologies.

• Proven ability to architect and ship AI solutions in production – not just pilots – spanning areas such as LLM‑based applications, RAG, ML platforms, MLOps, or intelligent automation.

• A track record of winning trust in front of clients: leading presales conversations, running workshops, and shaping solutions that clients actually buy into.

• Comfort moving fluidly between C‑level conversations and engineering stand‑ups – equally convincing discussing ROI and model architecture.

• A natural connector who builds genuine relationships with clients and internal teams alike, and who treats stakeholder trust as seriously as technical correctness.

• Business‑fluent language proficiency in German and English is mandatory, given the client‑facing nature of this role in the DACH region.

• Willingness to travel to client sites across the DACH region as engagements require.
