Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored AI applications with a focus on generative AI.

• Evaluate the quality of models with respect to correctness, robustness and fairness.

• Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with developers and quality engineers.

• Implement RAG applications and leverage agentic frameworks for innovative solutions.

• Support DevOps teams with best practices in LLMOps and security concepts.

• Select and evaluate off-the-shelf AI systems, taking cost, latency and scalability into account.

• Generate datasets for evaluation and implement industry standards in the field of AI.

• Conduct market research on new AI solutions to assess their potential for applications.

Requirements

• Degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience leading cross-functional (sub)projects.

• Solid knowledge of Python, particularly in GenAI and agentic AI tools (e.g., LlamaIndex, LangChain/LangGraph).

• Experience developing container-based solutions and cloud solutions.

• Ideally experience in regulated environments and knowledge of standards such as BAIT, DORA or ISO 27001.

• Business-fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (B2 level).

• High degree of personal responsibility, team spirit and an agile working style.
