Your Role Senior AI Engineer with focus on ML & LLMs (m/f/d) in our R&D projects with engineering teams of 2-5 people Researching and building real AI, ML and LLM solutions for a wide range of industries and for different use cases - from a first PoC and MVP to fully operating applications Defining the right tech stack and setting up the architecture for the projects by following a two‑weekly Scrum process using GitLab, Jira, Slack, Continuous Integration & Delivery, etc.

Mentoring and coaching engineers on AI, ML and LLM topics, making sure we build high quality products Constantly improving our Enterprise AI Business Unit and building up knowledge by introducing new tools, best practices or frameworks and sharing learnings from our projects Your Profile University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering with focus on AI or in similar disciplines and 5+ years of track record in agile software development Deep know how in state‑of‑the‑art Deep Learning & Machine Learning approaches & models (e.g. in Reinforcement Learning, GANs, Graph Neural Networks, CNNs, RNNs, Transformers etc.), as well as in designing and implementing LLM‑based solutions ranging from RAG to Multi‑Agent systems Strong experience in Python, with various libraries/frameworks, LLM cloud providers, prompt engineering and tracing / evaluation tools combined with knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art Machine & Deep Learning approaches in NLP and CV Experience in engineering and architectural practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design‑driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications/digital products Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions for our clients Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early‑stage product development, interest in learning new tech stacks and strong command of English language (both verbal and written), German is a plus We enable: The chance to use newest technologies in our different R&D projects, an individual learning & development budget and a defined Talent Journey for your further growth We create : Huge impact on future products and insights from a broad range of industries, in an environment with flexible working hours and up to 50% remote work We explore : Regular Tech Discovery and Discovery Conference to stay close to new tech We are community‑driven : Vibrant and interdisciplinary tech community as well as regular team buildings and company events Motius is colorful We embrace and value equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity.
