We are seeking a seasoned Cloud-Based Data Analyst to join our team and leverage cloud platforms to collect, analyze, and model customer data. This role is crucial for extracting actionable insights from vast amounts of data to improve business processes, personalize the customer experience, and boost overall satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Processing
- Design and implement data pipelines to collect customer data from diverse sources (e.g., website, application, social media, and CRM systems) into a cloud platform (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Data Lake).
- Clean, transform, and organize data to prepare it for analysis.
Data Analysis and Modeling
- Conduct statistical and data mining analyses to identify customer behavior patterns and predict future trends.
- Build and develop predictive models to forecast customer churn or the success of marketing campaigns.
- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visual reports.
Communication and Reporting
- Deliver clear and understandable reports to management and various teams (marketing, sales, and product) with a focus on actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Possess deep knowledge of a major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) and its data-related services (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, or dbt.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer, with a focus on cloud environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R) for data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
