- Coordinate and deliver cross-departmental data projects with business and technical stakeholders, from concept through to delivery, ensuring measurable business impact
- Own the maintenance and further development of the data platform, including introducing a data catalog and evaluating dbt as a replacement for existing legacy pipelines
- Design and implement complex, cross-functional data architectures and advanced data models that enable self-service analytics and data-driven decision making
- Coach and mentor junior and peer engineers to strengthen team capabilities and establish common standards within the Data Engineering team
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on Data Engineering experience, including stakeholder and project management in cross‑functional environments
- Strong SQL skills and proven experience with AWS, Redshift (or a comparable columnar analytics database), and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster
- Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus
