What you’ll do as part of our cloud‑and data engineering team Take ownership for projects end to end: from scoping to stakeholder alignment and the delivery of measurable outcomes.

Who you are A passionate data engineer who loves being at the forefront of modern, AI‑driven technology, but also cares about the engineering craftmanship. 2+ years of hands‑on experience with a cloud hyperscaler (preferably AWS, Azure or GCP).

Competent with large‑scale data processing and modern analytics stacks (Apache Spark, Snowflake, dbt or similar technologies). Benefits Flexible working hours and locations, including home office.

Our clients are DAX and Fortune Global 500 leaders who trust us for our expertise across data platforms, big data and cloud engineering. Design data architectures for batch and streaming workloads, both at small and big data scales.

Provision and manage the underlying cloud infrastructure to support those architectures on providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP. Build Python ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestrated with Airflow, Dagster or Prefect. Work with data lake technologies and optimize OLAP data warehouses and lakehouses.

Model and store data across SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as optimizing performance and costs. Create web APIs with popular Python frameworks (FastAPI and Flask) and describe them using standards like OpenAPI/Swagger. Automate deployments using Infrastructure‑as‑Code and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Preferably 3+ years of experience building production‑grade software. A senior‑level Python developer, who writes idiomatic and well‑tested code. Skilled in performance tuning and optimization of relational databases (through indexing, sharding or partitioning).

Experienced with data workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster or Prefect). Proficient with containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies). A clear, confident communicator in German and English who can translate between business and engineering.

Customer‑centric, results‑driven, and willing to occasionally travel to clients. Professional development: targeted and individual training.
