As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering modern, scalable data platforms that power strategic business decisions for major public and private organizations.
You will work on cutting-edge cloud and big data ecosystems using Azure, AWS, Databricks, Spark, and modern DevOps practices to create high-performance data solutions.
What you’ll do Design, architect, and build enterprise‑grade cloud data platforms from the ground up Develop scalable data pipelines and distributed systems for large-scale data integration Collaborate with business stakeholders, software engineers, analysts, and data scientists Contribute throughout the full project lifecycle: strategy, architecture, implementation, deployment, and optimization Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence within the team Support innovation initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and technical pre‑sales activities Help shape ELCA’s Data & AI thought leadership through innovation and best practices What you bring 4+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, or distributed systems Strong expertise in SQL, data architecture, ETL/ELT, and large‑scale data processing Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation Knowledge of Terraform, real‑time or micro‑batch architectures Familiarity with data mesh, data products, or AI/ML environments is a plus Strong communication skills in French and English Why join ELCA?
