Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform)

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines end to end: design, build, run, monitor, and troubleshoot.

• Build and maintain Apache Airflow workflows.

• Develop dbt models in Redshift, including incremental strategies and data quality tests.

• Design and build lake-layer pipelines.

• Manage cloud infrastructure and configuration.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with secure cloud authentication.

• Investigate and resolve production incidents using monitoring and alerting effectively.

• Follow the typical new source flow end to end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering or related experience.

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and understanding of data warehouse concepts.

• Hands‑on experience in Redshift (or similar).

• Hands‑on experience with ELT/ETL flows using dbt and Apache Airflow.

• Solid AWS experience across object storage, containers, managed ETL, and related analytics services.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker.

• Proven ability to own projects from requirements gathering through production monitoring.

• Strong operational mindset to troubleshoot systematically.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating well with analytics and platform stakeholders.
