Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) Global IT

At SPORTFIVE, data powers intelligent decision‑making, advanced analytics, and next‑generation fan experiences across global sports. We’re accelerating our AI transformation and seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in AI‑enabled platforms, financial data, and modern Lakehouse architectures.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Design/build AI‑ready Lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Fabric) and data pipelines for analytics/ML

• Develop financial data models (Data Vault 2.0) with governance (Purview, Unity Catalog)

• Architect AI infrastructure: Cognitive Search, RAG, vector DBs, knowledge graphs for agentic AI

• Optimize Databricks + establish CI/CD/DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps)

• Ensure security, lineage, compliance via RBAC and metadata management

• Collaborate across data, AI, and business teams to deliver a scalable platform

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years Azure data/AI engineering with Python/SQL expertise

• Deep experience: Databricks, Fabric, Lakehouse architectures

• AI/ML integration (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, RAG, vector search)

• Data modeling, Delta Lake, performance optimization, financial data

• Governance tools (Purview, Unity Catalog) + CI/CD/DevOps practices

• Distributed processing across SQL/NoSQL with strong analytical mindset
