We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist role focused on building prototypes and production-grade data science / machine learning applications to generate measurable impact across business units in the pharmaceutical domain.
Key Responsibilities Build advanced data science and machine learning prototypes to validate new use cases in close collaboration with business stakeholders, rapidly testing feasibility and value.
Requirements Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, physics, computer science, or similar; advanced scientific degrees are desirable (e.g., PhD). 5 years of relevant experience with Python programming and common ML libraries (for Distinguished: 10 years ), e.g., scikit-learn , PyTorch , TensorFlow .
Experience with software development and deploying models with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Databricks ). Expertise in business domains relevant for the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., Chemistry , (Molecular-) Biology , Pharmacology , Medicine-/Bioinformatics ).
AI research experience at university or in industry labs with a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and knowledge of new AI developments (e.g., Transformers , CNNs , LLMs , GNNs , Diffusion models , JEPA ). Primarily remote , with occasional travel to the customer site near Stuttgart.
