Required Technical and Professional Expertise Strong experience in at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: Python, R and R Shiny Knowledge of the following libraries: Pandas, Numpy Knowledge of cutting‑edge data science techniques and how to apply them Experience cleaning, analyzing and aggregating large data sets Sound knowledge of dealing with time series data Experience with JupyterHub Experience with Rstudio Server Self‑motivation, quick comprehension and ability to work in a team in an international environment Fluent German and English skills Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Experience with Impala or Hive Experience with AWS S3 You have already worked with the following tools: Hbase, Kafka, HDFS #J-18808-Ljbffr Do you want to actively shape the transformation of an entire industry?

In this role, you will work in the IBM Client Innovation Center Germany (CIC), where we apply in-depth technical know-how and industry knowledge to a wide range of customer projects in the public and private sectors.

Our CIC provides technical expertise to local companies to drive innovation and implement new technologies. Your Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Data Scientist AI (m/f/d), you will be involved in ongoing or new customer projects right from the start of your work at the IBM Client Innovation Center Germany (CIC).

Your tasks will vary depending on the respective project and customer situation. As a rule, you can look forward to an agile working environment in which we work together with customer managers in a BizDevOps set-up to implement exciting data science & AI use cases.

This includes technical communication with technical experts on the customer side (e.g. from the areas of statistics, payments, risk management, or others), as well as the technical implementation of the relevant requirements (e.g. in Python and/or R).
