Senior Data Scientist - Real-World Data (SAS, R)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with passionate problem solvers, innovating as a team to help customers achieve their goals

• Assess quality of the data

• Conduct analyses (programming of TFLs)

• Review and input Protocol and SAP

• Conduct longitudinal cohort studies and create study cohorts from scratch

Requirements

• Highly proficient in SAS or R

• Extensive familiarity with commercial claims and EHR databases, such as Optum, MarketScan, IQVIA PharMetrics, or HealthVerity

• Ability to conduct longitudinal cohort studies, including creating study cohorts, baseline and outcome variables from scratch

• Solid understanding of epidemiologic study designs and methodologies

• Hands‑on experience with basic statistical tests, regression models, and survival analysis

• Advanced degree in Biostatistics or Epidemiology (preferred: prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
