Senior Engineer (18-Month Leased Labor) - Audio Machine Learning (m/f/d)
Your mission
- Develop and optimize innovative audio machine learning technologies, such as acoustic scene classification or multimodal scene classification.
- Design, train, and validate lightweight models using relevant audio datasets, ensuring suitability for embedded hardware.
- Perform literature analysis and technical insight to identify promising technologies for audio classification and other AI-based audio technologies.
Your areas of expertise
- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in deep learning. Familiarity with audio signal processing is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with model compression techniques (pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation) is a significant advantage.
- Programming proficiency in Python is a must. Experience with programming embedded AI systems (C/C++) is a plus.
- A research-oriented mindset, with curiosity and a passion for hands‑on solving complex, real-world problems.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
