Senior Engineer (18-Month Leased Labor) - Audio Machine Learning (m/f/d) Your mission Develop and optimize innovative audio machine learning technologies, such as acoustic scene classification or multimodal scene classification.
Design, train, and validate lightweight models using relevant audio datasets, ensuring suitability for embedded hardware. Perform literature analysis and technical insight to identify promising technologies for audio classification and other AI-based audio technologies.
Your areas of expertise Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field. Familiarity with audio signal processing is a plus. Hands‑on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Familiarity with model compression techniques (pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation) is a significant advantage. Programming proficiency in Python is a must. Experience with programming embedded AI systems (C/C++) is a plus. A research-oriented mindset, with curiosity and a passion for hands‑on solving complex, real-world problems.
