Responsibilities Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.

Provide technical training and support to team members. Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc. Utilize industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
Prepare presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives. Participate in rates process improvement projects.
Requirements High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must reside within North Carolina. Must be able to travel within catchment as required. Preferred: Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry.
