Software Engineer – AI Engineering (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities

• Designing and building AI-powered applications and features
• Building RAG systems, vector databases and agent workflows
• Integrating and fine-tuning LLMs in production software
• Prompt engineering, evaluation and optimization of AI pipelines
• Deploying and operating solutions in the cloud (AWS / Azure)
• Close collaboration with engineering, product and clients

What you bring

• Solid software engineering experience in Python and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and common AI frameworks
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings and vector databases
• Analytical thinking and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Good German and English skills
• An independent, structured way of working and team spirit

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• Cloud and MLOps experience (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI)
• Knowledge of data processing and ML fundamentals
• Experience running AI systems in production
