About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Agricultural Data Analyst to work remotely, providing critical insights into farm operations and performance. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets related to crop yields, soil conditions, weather patterns, and resource management. Your findings will help farmers and agricultural managers make informed decisions to improve efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. This role requires strong quantitative skills, proficiency with data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively to stakeholders, all within a fully remote work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage agricultural data from various sources including sensors, farm management software, and historical records.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in agricultural data.
  • Develop data visualizations and reports to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize crop production, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the agricultural sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) and database management (e.g., SQL).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
