Are you a data-savvy Information Analyst with a deep background in big data landscapes? we are looking for a senior-level consultant to drive the redesign of our datasets and reporting infrastructure. In this role, you will play a critical part in transitioning our platform to the MIG6 market model and integrating data flows from the large-scale rollout of smart digital meters. This is a high-impact, full-time freelance assignment within the Business Transformation division, combining deep technical data engineering with sharp functional business analysis.

• What You’ll Do:
• Data Migration & Integration: Analyze, map, and rebuild complex datasets and integrated data models to fully support the new MIG6 framework.
• Smart Meter Reporting: Design and implement automated and semi-manual data ingestion pipelines to process incoming digital meter telemetry into our core reporting models.
• Data Engineering & Querying: Build and optimize high-volume data structures using Databricks and write highly performant SQL queries.
• Quality Assurance: Own the end-to-end acceptance testing framework, systematically profile data pipelines, proactively detect system errors, and map out automated fixes.
• Bridge Business & IT: Translate complex data workflows into digestible, functional business reports, documenting processes to ensure solution maintainability.
• What You Bring (Must-Haves):
• Experience: 3+ years as an Information/Functional Analyst and BI Consultant handling massive data volumes.
• Data Tech Stack: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL querying.
• Data Management: Proven proficiency in ETL tools and 2+ years of processing large datasets in Databricks.
• Testing: Demonstrated track record with formal Acceptance Testing cycles.

Highly Preferred (Should-Haves):

• Market Knowledge: 3+ years of experience with clearing and market processes within the EU - Nl/BE/DE/IT energy market.
• Advanced Code: 2+ years of experience writing data pipelines using PySpark.
• Strong skill set in requirements analysis and structural documentation.
