Your responsibilities

*** Overall responsibility for the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap, including budget planning.* Ensure a scalable, secure and cost‐efficient service operation using cloud‐native services.* Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements gathering and service provisioning to implementation support and operation.* Ensure reliable platform operations, monitor performance and maintain Service Level Agreement compliance.* Drive continuous improvement of development, deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps).* Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control, logging, monitoring and incident management).* Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.* Lead, coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts.**What we are looking for:*** Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering* Proven experience (7+ years) in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related architecture/technology projects, preferably within a large enterprise environment* Profound understanding of current AI technologies (ML models, LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, modern frameworks)* Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI-related application ownership* Strong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle, enterprise software processes, and governance best practices* Knowledge about AI project management, delivery, or technological evaluation as well as agile methodologies and DevOps practices* Experience in creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment* Structured, independent, and analytical way of working, as well as a high willingness to learn* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges* Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams* Very good knowledge of English, German is a plus.**Does this sound interesting?**We look forward to receiving your online application!
