Databricks Architect / AI Engineer (f/m/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data and AI solutions on Databricks, Azure Cloud, Spark, and Python.

• Collaborate with Investment Managers and stakeholders to translate investment use cases into technical solutions.

• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and analytics applications.

• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions for investment management and research processes.

• Develop machine learning models for forecasting, classification, NLP, and anomaly detection.

• Integrate and manage market data sources such as Bloomberg, Haver, and other financial data providers.

• Implement data governance, quality controls, security, and compliance standards.

• Manage CI/CD, monitoring, performance optimization, and production support activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Databricks, Azure Cloud, Spark, Python, AI, and Machine Learning.

• 2+ years of experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Banking, or Capital Markets.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)

• Spark and MLflow

• Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps

• Understanding of financial markets, portfolio analytics, risk management, and performance attribution.

• Experience with Bloomberg and other market/reference data sources.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, CI/CD, Git, security, and monitoring.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
