Location: Heidelberg Company: SRH University To support our School of Arts, Information & Media, we are looking for an external lecturer on a fee basis f/m/d for our courses in the study program of Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (ADSAI) at our Heidelberg Campus. Services: Teach Statistics & Machine Learning, Python Programming, and Data Management with a strong focus on practical implementation and current technologiesApply statistical and ML libraries such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow and PyTorch for data analysis, modelling and evaluationTeach Python software development, including OOP, APIs, testing, data processing, automation, and development best practicesIntroduce LLM and agentic AI development using technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, FastAPI, vector databases and LLM APIsWork with modern data technologies including SQL, PostgreSQL, dbt, Neo4j, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, and visualization tools such as TableauDesign and deliver hands-on labs, coding exercises, applied projects and assessments, while supporting students and coordinating content with module and program leads

Requirements: University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics or a related fieldStrong expertise in at least one of the listed modulesRelevant academic and/or industry experienceVery good English and strong teaching / communication skillsPrevious university teaching experience is an advantageEligibility: SRH must not be the sole professional engagement; another main occupation and/or genuine other clients are required
