Key Responsibilities Explore and develop innovative AI solutions to improve safety and reliability in advanced driving systems Design and implement AI-based risk assessment algorithms for autonomous driving scenarios Extend and enhance state-of-the-art end-to-end driving models to address safety-critical edge cases Work on perception, prediction, planning, and control components within unified end-to-end architectures Evaluate and improve model performance using real-world and simulated driving data Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in autonomous driving Required Experience & Skills MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field 3+ years of experience working on end-to-end AI or autonomous driving systems (preferred for Senior level) Strong understanding of neural network architectures and AI-based system design for autonomous driving Experience working with safety-critical AI systems, including risk assessment or failure case analysis Familiarity with hardware/software platforms used in autonomous driving systems Hands‑on experience developing or applying AI models to real‑world mobility or driving problems Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to work in complex, safety‑critical environments Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams Professional English proficiency required; German and/or Chinese is an advantage Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%) Why Apply?

Role Overview We are seeking a Senior or Principal AI Engineer specialising in end-to-end advanced driving systems to design, develop, and optimise AI models for safe autonomous driving.

You will work on advancing end-to-end driving architectures, developing AI-based risk assessment systems, and addressing safety-critical challenges in real-world driving environments. The role requires strong technical depth in deep learning, perception-to-action modelling, and safety-focused AI system design.
