Software/AI Engineer

Overview

An innovative AI coworker lives in Slack & Microsoft Teams, connecting to thousands of tools and executing complex enterprise work. We build a product that replaces half the SaaS stack with a single teammate.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance AI agents for Slack and Teams, integrating tools, ensuring reliability, and shipping code to production daily.

• Design and maintain the agent runtime, sandboxed execution, tool orchestration, memory, and closed‑loop verification.

• Ship integrations: OAuth, webhooks, schema mapping, error handling, ensuring they work on customers’ real data day one.

• Run infrastructure: Container orchestration, autoscaling, cost per task to keep the product fast and cheap.

• Develop features directly delivered through Slack and Teams, seeing impact within hours.

• Own live surfaces and resolve production issues independently, including out‑of‑hours support when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building or significantly modifying AI agents, including runtime, tools, memory, and evaluations.

• Fluency with agentic coding workflows and AI‑assisted development.

• Strong full‑stack chops: Python, TypeScript/React, and container orchestration.

• Experience shipping code to production quickly—daily or multiple times a day.

• Systems thinking: ability to make hard technical trade‑offs and understand scaling failures.

• Prior work with chat‑based interfaces (Slack, Teams) is essential.

• Current right to work in Germany; remote work is supported; travel to in‑person meetings a few times a year.

Nice to Have

• Experience building and maintaining third‑party API integrations (Salesforce, Stripe, HubSpot).

• Infrastructure management, cost optimization, and DevOps practices.

• Sandboxed execution environments.

• Background in open‑source AI or developer‑tool projects.

• Previous founder or early‑stage builder experience.
