Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• You design and build AI systems from architecture through deployment, focusing on LLM applications, RAG, and agentic workflows.

• You develop scalable backend services and APIs in Python, primarily using FastAPI.

• You put cloud AI services into production, preferably on Microsoft Azure; depending on the project, AWS or GCP may also be used.

• You ensure quality from the start through testing, evaluation, and monitoring.

• You communicate directly with clients, translate business requirements into technical architecture, and make project decisions.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

• Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a related field.

• Strong experience in software development with Python.

• Practical experience deploying machine learning models and large language models (LLMs).

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS or GCP as alternatives.

• Motivated to work independently and flexible in learning new topics and responsibilities.
