Job Description: Generative AI Engineer
Job Type: Depend, either onsite in Heidelberg, or Hybrid or Remote.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and fine-tune generative models (e.g., GPT, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion).
- Build scalable ML pipelines for training and inference, including CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration of AI into user-facing products.
- Develop RESTful APIs or services to serve models in production environments.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate based on results.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI systems.
- Stay current with research trends in generative models and foundation models.
- Promote responsible and ethical AI practices in content generation and deployment.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s or master's in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Strong proficiency with ML/DL frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proven experience with generative models (e.g., transformers, GANs, VAEs).
- Programming skills in Python and familiarity with deployment on AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker).
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in NLP, vision, or foundation models.
- Experience in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding MLOps and model monitoring tools.
- Experience fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
